Flannel Blankets

In fact, flannel blankets may shed during use, but this is not a major concern. The blanket may shed some fibres initially, but this diminishes over time. Unless you have purchased a low-quality blanket, this shedding is generally considered normal. To minimise lint shedding, wash the flannel blanket before its first use and tumble dry it on a low heat setting. Avoid pulling at the fabric or brushing it vigorously, as this can effectively reduce the likelihood of shedding.
